Design

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is a people carrier with a difference. Seating seven people in style and safety, it has beautiful lines and bold touches - all part of the Citroen flair.

Chrome Inserts

Chrome inserts add a sophisticated touch to the front and rear bumpers and side windows - and the chrome chevrons on the front grille extend out to the headlights.

Headlights

On most cars, you don't notice the headlights - not so with the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. The daytime-running front LED signature - standard on most models - and the bi-Xenon headlights have a smoked chrome tint. The whole effect is striking.

Rear Lights

The LED light guide technology in the two rear lights and the third horizontal brake light gives the car a look all its own.

Roof Bars

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso's roof bars (standard on most models) can carry loads of up to 80kg, adding that little something extra to the stylishness of the car while giving you plenty of options for loading.

Record Beating Interior Space

Step inside the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso and you're in for a surprise. The sense of space is extraordinary, with remarkable elbow and leg room both in the front and the back. The three rows of seats hold seven people in comfort.

Seven Seats

Up to seven people can ride comfortably in the three rows of the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. The second row has identical, independent seats, with room for two more in the third row. There's plenty of leg room for everyone.

Flexible Seating Design

The clever seat-folding mechanism lets you chang the shape of the cabin quickly and easily without taking any seats out. A quick tug on the release strap lets you fold away seats and their headrests in rows 2 and 3, creating a perfectly flat loading area.

Storage

Alongside the storage areas you'd normally expect in a car, the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has neat and convenient storage compartments dotted around the car, including Four large compartments (one cooled) on the dashboard, Aircraft style tray tables and storage nets on the backs of the front seats (on some models) and Storage under the front and rear seats.

Original Lighting

By night, the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is as light and welcoming as it is by day - thanks to its ambient light sources throughout the cabin. Some models even feature reading lights on the back of the front seats and a portable torch in the boot.

Bluetooth

The Bluetooth hands-free system in the Grand Citroen C4 Picasso lets you make calls safely, keeping your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road.

Parking Assist

Optional front and rear sensors make parking easier - especially when space is tight in the city. Sensors in the bumpers sense any obstacles, sound a beep and show you how close you are to other cars and objects on the on-board computer screen.

Airbags

Advanced Safety Braking

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has an innovative and comprehensive braking system.

• There are four large vented disc brakes.
• An ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) function adjusts braking pressure electronically to stop the wheels locking.
• Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) spreads braking power evenly to all four wheels.
• Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) boosts braking power instantly when the drive brakes hard.
• Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) keeps the car stable if it slips when cornering.

ESP

All Citroen Grand C4 Picassos are inherently safe, thanks to their sophisticated suspension design, but the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) adds a further level of security. By monitoring progress through a bend, it senses whether oversteer or understeer is developing, modifying engine torque and applying a precise measure of braking for ultimate stability control.

Intelligent Traction Control

Unique to Citroen, Intelligent Traction Control (ITC) provides grip on slippery surfaces to help the car travel through snow, black ice and rain. ITC analyses factors such as the slope of the road and the type of snow or ice to adjust the slippage of the right and left wheels separately.

Child Safety

Your smallest passengers are safe and secure in the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso:

• There are anchorage points for fitting three Isofix child seats in row 2.
• A child-surveilance mirror helps you keep an eye on the kids without turning around.
• Electric safety locks for the rear doors are within easy reach of the driver.
• Warning lights and sounds let you know if seatbelts are undone in row 2.

Steering Wheel

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso features a fixed-centred control steering wheel to keep you comfortable and safe while driving.

Ergonomic Design

Automatic Electric Parking Brake

Pull a button on the central fascia and the electric parking brake calculates how much force is needed to keep the car stationary. It comes on automatically when you stop the engine and shuts off when you put the car in motion. So you can rest assured that your Citroen Grand C4 Picasso will always be securely parked.

Hill-Start Assist

The hill-start assist function keeps the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso steady on a steep slope. Linked to the automatic electric parking brake, it keeps you stable for two seconds when you take your foot off the brake, giving you time to get the car in motion.

Cruise Control and Speed Limiter

The cruise control/speed limiter, with is steering-wheel controls, helps you have a more relaxed driving experience.

Boot Dimensions

The spaciousness of the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso extends into the boot, which has a whopping 576 litres of space in a normal configuration and 1,951 litres with all seats folded.

Luggage Cover

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has a roller-blind luggage cover to hide the contents of the boot from prying eyes.

Portable Torch

Alongside the normal boot lighting, you'll find a built-in removable torch. It will even light your way for 45 minutes when removed.

HDI Technology

The HDi engines set the benchmark in their category for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Their electronically controlled system optimises the air/fuel mix and significantly reduces pollution.

Particulate Filter

The HDi engines on the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso are fitted with a particulate filter (DPFS), which traps and burns the particles produced by the engine. This brings the level of particulate emissions from the car to barely measurable levels.
